Spurs youngster Joshua Onomah has retained his place in the England Under-16 squad as the Young Lions bid to wrap up a 12th straight success in the Victory Shield.

The teenage midfielder is the only player to be named in all three of coach Kenny Swain’s squads for the tournament after he named an 18-man group for next week’s decider against Scotland.

A draw at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium on Thursday, November 29 will give England their 12th consecutive triumph in the competition following their 5-0 victory over Northern Ireland in September and 1-0 defeat of Wales earlier this month.
