Russell Westbrook became the fourth player in NBA history to reach 100 career triple-doubles with another stand-out display on Tuesday night.

Westbrook collected 32 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists as the Oklahoma City Thunder rallied from 12 points down at half-time to beat the Atlanta Hawks 119-107.

It was Westbrook’s 81st triple-double in the past three seasons, and he is now only seven behind Jason Kidd for third place on the all-time list.

Oscar Robertson leads the all-time charts with 181, while Magic Johnson had 138 in his career.

The win keeps the Thunder fourth in the Western Conference standings, half a game ahead of the New Orleans Pelicans, who kept pace with a 119-115 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Having led almost all night, the Pelicans fell behind 104-98 early in the fourth quarter before rallying behind Anthony Davis, who finished with 31 points and 14 rebounds.

The Minnesota Timberwolves sit sixth in the standings, level with New Orleans, after a key 116-111 road win over the Washington Wizards.

Minnesota outscored Washington 34-21 in the final period to take the win as Karl-Anthony Towns poured in 37 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Los Angeles Clippers kept themselves in the race with with a 112-106 road win over the Chicago Bulls, coming on the day they learned Avery Bradley would miss the rest of the season following surgery on his adductor muscle.

The San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz, who are in the same intense scrap as the Clippers for the final spots in the West, kept pace as the Spurs routed the Orlando Magic 108-72 while the Jazz beat the Detroit Pistons 110-79.

But the Denver Nuggets fell one game back on the trio with a 112-103 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

In the East, the Indiana Pacers stayed third in the Conference with a 101-98 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, keeping them half a game ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers, who beat the Phoenix Suns 129-107 as LeBron James piled up 28 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists.

The Conference-leading Toronto Raptors stretched their advantage to four games with a 116-102 win over the Brooklyn Nets, a ninth straight win.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks’ losing skid reached eight games as they went down 110-97 to the Dallas Mavericks.
