OAKWOOD-BASED Olympiacos U10s Reds finished the season with a 1-0 win against Hadley Wood and Wingate Foxes.

A superb volley from Luke Skarparis put the Reds ahead after dominating the first half.

In the second half, the match was an even contest with both goalkeepers being called upon several times.

John Demetriou, making his goalkeeping debut, pulled off three great saves late on in the game to keep the Reds ahead and go on to win the match.

The win secured a mid-table finish after an impressive 1-4 win at AEK the week before.
