ENFIELD Town needed two late goals to secure a 3-3 draw at AFC Sudbury in their final pre-season friendly.

Michael Deane and Luke Marshall netted in the final three minutes of the match against Town's former Ryman League opponents to secure a share of the spoils.

Sudbury, who will start this season in the BGB Southern League Divison 1 Midlands, took the lead after just six minutes when Ollie Blackwell netted from a corner.

They doubled their lead 15 minutes later when Neil Cogger caught the Enfield defence snoozing as he latched onto a free-kick and netted well.

Rudi Hall made it 2-1 from the spot on 33 minutes after Ricci Crace was fouled in the area.

Sudbury restored their two-goal advantage with only nine minutes of the match remaining when Jamie Rowe pounced after Town keeper Eric Pudaloff could only parry Luke Hammond's free-kick.

Deane set up an interesting finish when he punished Danny Brown's poor clearance to make it 3-2 with three minutes remaining.

And with less than 60 seconds on the clock, Marshall's shot somehow crept into the net to secure an encouraging draw.

Town take on Hillingdon Borough in the Middlesex Charity Cup final on Tuesday evening (7.30pm). The match was held over from last season.
