Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to complete the £12 million signing of Holland international striker Vincent Janssen according to the Daily Mirror.

The 22-year-old striker was the top scorer in the Eredivisie during the 2015/16 season, netting 27 goals in 34 games for AZ Alkmaar.

Janssen was also part of the Holland side that beat England at Wembley in March, with the striker getting on the score sheet during that game, putting Danny Blind’s men back on level terms from the penalty spot.

The Mirror claim that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen to land the AZ Alkmaar striker and state a fee has already been agreed between the two clubs.

Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and PSV have all been linked with Janssen, however the Mirror believe Spurs are confident of completing a deal for the striker in the near future.
