Tottenham Hotspur youngster Kyle Walker-Peters has joined Dutch side Roda JC on trial with a view to a loan move.

The 18-year-old full-back has linked up with the Eredivisie outfit ahead of a potential loan switch.

Walker-Peters signed a new contract until 2018 with Spurs last month and has been a regular for the club's Under-21 side.

Roda's technical director, Tom Caanen, told Fox Sports: "We'll see if it suits either side. The intention is certainly to capture him on loan."

Cannen confirmed in August talks between Spurs and Roda about a mutually beneficial partnership were at an "advanced stage".
