Enfield Town failed to hold onto a 2-0 lead after drawing 2-2 at home to Merstham in the Ryman Premier Division on Saturday.
The Towners made a bright start and were rewarded with the opener after 17 minutes. Bradley Quinton's side scored when Stan Muguo netted his first goal for the club when he fired home from a corner by Nathan Livings.
The visitors were reduced to ten men at the start of the second half when goalkeeper Josh Smith brought down Corey Whitely and conceded a penalty. Livings stepped up and converted the spot-kick to make it 2-0.
But Merstham pulled one back when the hosts lost possession and Callum Wilock pounced to score.
Enfield had chances to seal the win but were punished when Fabio Saraiva netted a 77th minute equaliser.
The Towners return to action tomorrow night when they visit North Greenford United in the Middlesex County Cup.
