Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in bringing Lille playmaker Sofiane Boufal, dubbed 'the new Eden Hazard' to White Hart Lane in January.

The 22-year-old Moroccan has scored three times in eight Ligue 1 games already this season for the French outfit and has drawn comparisons with another former Lille graduate, Chelsea's Hazard.

According to the London Evening Standard, Spurs could move for the Paris-born midfielder after missing out on Hazard to Chelsea in 2012.

Boufal only moved to Lille from Angers in January for €3 million but is likely to command a far higher fee should he switch to the Premier League when the transfer window opens.
