Enfield were denied victory over Acton in Middlesex County Cricket League Division Two after being held to a draw on Saturday.

Batting first, Acton managed to score 246 for eight from their 54 overs. Enfield produced a decent response in reply but ran out of time and overs as they finished on 227 for five.

Enfield picked up four points compared to one for their opponents due to their faster run rate.

Enfield Seconds dominated Indian Gymkhana in Division Two but had to settle for a draw.

The side scored 273 for six from their innings. Indian Gymkhana were in trouble but managed to avoid defeat as they ended on 180 for seven.

Enfield still came away with four points from the game owing to their faster run rate.

Winchmore Hill claimed a three-wicket win over Barnes in their high scoring Division Three encounter.

Barnes scored an impressive total of 315 for seven. But Winchmore Hill responded superbly and managed to reach the target in 43.4 overs for the loss of seven wickets.

Charlie Holmes was in excellent form with the bat as he scored 136 to help the side clinch victory.

Winchmore Hill Seconds drew at home to Barnes in the Seconds' Division Two.

Barnes opened the batting and scored 275 for four from 49 overs. In reply, Winchmore Hill reached 210 for five from 51 overs with Tobi Claridge hitting a century (100) and Chris Richards scoring an unbeaten 69.

Winchmore Hill Thirds edged to a two run win over Brentham in their thrilling Division Three match.

Batting first, Hill managed to compile a total of 309 for six from 48 overs. Andy Ward top scored with 91 while Dominic Philip hit 68 and Scott Forrester contributed 55.

Brentham were heading for victory on 302 for four with three overs left before a dramatic turnaround for Winchmore Hill.

Philp claimed four for two as Brentham squandered a golden opportunity and were dismissed for 307.
