Tottenham Hotspur look set to complete a deal for Burnley full-back Kieran Trippier imminently after Clarets boss Sean Dyche confirmed the switch is "active".

Trippier, 24, has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane throughout the summer and it was revealed earlier in the week Spurs had met the £3.5 million release clause in the full-back's contract.

The former Manchester City defender starred for the Clarets last term as they were relegated from the Premier League after just one season in England's top tier.
