The Football Association have again delayed their decision regarding Enfield Town's appeal against the guilty verdict recorded in their ineligible player case by 24 hours.
On Friday the Towners went before the FA as they appealed the original verdict which saw the club found guilty of fielding Aryan Tajbakhsh in two matches when he was suspended.
The Isthmian League subsequently docked Enfield three points, meaning they would drop out of the Premier Division play-off picture if they deduction is upheld.
However, the FA delayed their decsion until Monday and Enfield have now been told they will face a further delay of 24 hours as the game's governing body continue to mull over their decision.
Tajbakhsh played in matches against Hendon and Ashford Town after joining from VCD Athletic due to a mix-up with his disciplinary record.
However, Town informed the FA and were told leaving him out of their next two fixtures would exonerate them.
