Out-of-favour striker Emmanuel Abebayor has taken to Twitter to reaffirm his commitment to Tottenham Hotspur and express his desire to remain at White Hart Lane.

The 31-year-old has made just nine Premier League starts this season, scoring twice, but has featured for Mauricio Pochettino's side just four times since the turn of the year.

And his lack of first-team involvement has prompted speculation the Togolese international will leave Spurs in the summer.

The former Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid frontman has fallen down the pecking order this season with Harry Kane's blistering form making him Pochettino's first-choice forward.

However, Adeabayor has spoken out via Twitter to state his intention to remain in north London.
