Brimsdown extended their unbeaten run to 14 league and cup fixtures on Saturday by beating Clean Slate FC 6-0, despite the absence of Leon Wilson.

The midfielder has become the third player to make the switch from the Spartan South Midlands Division Two side to Isthmian Premier Division Enfield Town and the Limers began life without Wilson in winning fashion.

Ralston Gabriel almost opened the scoring twice in the opening ten minutes but was off target on both occasions.

The Limers did not have to wait long for a goal though as Devon Hurde crossed for Ola Akinwande to nod home the first after 17 minutes.

A second goal soon followed, Henderson Browne driving the length of the pitch before picking out Gabriel to place behind the Clean Slate goalkeeper.

It was 3-0 when Gabriel was felled inside the area, allowing Alfie Hatch to step up and fire the resulting spot kick home.

And in the final minute of the half the Limers grabbed a fourth. Orlando Abrahams beat two men before picking out Gabriel, who in turn squared to Akinwande to finish from six yards.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with Brimsdown causing numerous problems from the Clean Slate defence.

Gabriel helped himself to a second within three minutes of the restart, latching onto Hurde's pass and sliding home the Limers' fifth.

With the game won, manager Marvin Walker handed debuts to Eli-Amir Ibrahim and Courtney Harris.

Captain Gabriel completed his hat-trick with 15 minutes remaining, powering an unstoppable effort into the roof of the net to cap off a resounding victory.
