Enfield Town have signed defender Joe Ellul from Isthmian Division One North side Barkingside, with another signing expected this week.

The experienced defender joins after making 30 appearances for The 'Side this term in the division below the Towners.

Town boss Bradley Quinton is also expected to make another addition to his squad in midfield this week.

Ellul has also previously turned out for Aveley, Maldon & Tiptree, Redbridge and Waltham Forest. Primarily a centre back, he can also operate at centre forward.

He was an unused substitute in Saturday's 4-0 win over Billericay Town.
