Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino insists goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will remain at White Hart Lane and can reach the Champions League with Spurs.
The French gloveman has been in inspired form again for the north Londoners this term, leading to speculation he will quit Spurs in favour of a side in the Champions League.
However, Pochettino remains adament the former Lyon goalkeeper will stay at Tottenham and is confident the 28-year-old can reach Europe's premier competition with the club.
He told the Daily Mirror: “For me it is very simple. Hugo is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and his contribution has been amazing.
“He is very happy with us at Tottenham, and it is going to be very difficult for any club to to get him in because he is happy here.
“People keep saying he wants to play in the Champions League – maybe he can do that with Tottenham.”
