Enfield Town have snapped up Brimsdown FC forward Bobby Devyne after he netted 15 times in just 14 appearances for the Limers this season.

Devyne, who was a youth team player at Chelsea, marked his final appearance for the Spartan South Midlands Division Two side with a goal against Hale Leys on Saturday.

Speaking to the club's website, Devyne said: "I've known (manager) Marvin (Walker) and (assistant manager) Aaron (Archer) for a few years.

"So whilst trying to overcome my injury, I knew Brimsdown was the right club to be at. They both (Marvin and Aaron) encourage everyone to get the ball down and play. The quality of the coaching and players are of a very high standard, that's what made it so enjoyable.

"Hopefully they can get continue to win games and get promoted," he added.

Manager Walker commented: "Bobby has played very well for us. We've been more than happy to help him regain his full fitness.

"Now he is 100 per cent, it is time for him to move on. He's a quality player that scores goals. There is no reason why he can't get back into professional football."
