Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho has been left out of new Brazil coach Dunga's first squad since the World Cup.

The 26-year-old is one of 13 players who were a part of Brazil’s 2014 World Cup squad who have been dropped by Dunga, who is back for his second spell in charge of the Selecao.

Brazil’s World Cup ended in humiliation with a 7-1 thrashing at the hands of eventual winners Germany, and Paulinho, who has won 32 caps for his country, is one of the casualties from the fall out of Luis Felipe Scolari’s dismissal as coach.
