League One side Peterborough United have completed the signing of Tottenham winger Kenny McEvoy on a season-long youth loan.
The 19-year-old, who joined Tottenham's academy set-up in 2011, was a regular fixture in the club's Under-21 side and has also represented Republic of Ireland for the Under-19s.
The Waterford-born midfielder will be thrown straight into action at London Rondon after being included in the Posh squad for Saturday's pre-season tie against Brighton & Hove Albion.
McEvoy told the Posh's websie: “This is an opportunity for me to come and try and break into the first team and get some experience under my belt.
“It is my first loan spell so I just have to try and impress in training.”
