Frank Buglioni did exactly as promised, blowing Sam Couzens out the water with a fourth round stoppage win to claim the Southern Area super-middleweight title.
The Enfield fighter said he would make light work of Couzens (11-12-1) before the fight as he looked to bounce back from the only defeat of his professional career against Sergey Khomitsky in April.
Buglioni, 25, looked on course to do just that early on, landing a left hook to the body in the first round which forced Couzens to take an eight count.
From there, though, the Titchfield fighter got back on the front foot and could have been ahead on the scorecards as he exposed some the vulnerabilities evident in Buglioni's last bout.
The 'Wise Guy' claimed the win in the fourth round, though, landing a series of shots with Couzens against the ropes, leaving referee Bob Williams to call a halt to the contest.
