Spurs duo Kyle Walker and Aaron Lennon both featured as England claimed an easy 5-0 World Cup qualifying victory over San Marino last night.
Full-back Walker played the full 90 minutes and earned his first full cap at Wembley, while his club colleague made his first international appearance in two years after coming on as a tenth-minute replacement for the injured Theo Walcott.
Captain Wayne Rooney became his country’s fifth highest goalscorer with a brace, Manchester United team-mate Danny Welbeck also netted twice and the scoring was completed by Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
