Talented Enfield footballer Tyler Campbell believes he can go all the way as he attempts to win a professional contract with either Leyton Orient or Swindon Town.

Winger Tyler, 21, has been selected to take part in first-round trials of Samsung’s nationwide Win A Pro Contract.

He entered the competition in a bid to sign for Paolo Di Canio’s Robins or Russell Slade’s O’s, both teams currently play in League One.

Tyler said: “I first entered the competition in 2010 and I reached the final three.

“I am going to show the coaches that I am now ready to win as I am stronger, quicker and more experienced.

“I went very close before and I think I have a great chance of going all the way this time.

Chris Smith, last year’s winner, signed for Swindon in February and made his first team debut against Bradford City in May.

Orient manager Slade said: “Becoming a professional footballer is a demanding process and this competition will be exactly that.

“Everyone that has made it through to the first stage of trials will need to give it their all, physically and mentally.”

Swindon boss Di Canio added: “The competition offers an amazing prize but it will not be an easy journey for the players.

“They will have to work very hard to earn a chance with Swindon Town.”

Win A Pro Contract hopefuls take part in national and regional trials, before the winners are chosen by Di Canio and Slade in January 2013.
