Gareth Bale has signed a new four-year deal with Spurs.
The Welsh international has committed his future to the north London side and is now contracted to the club until 2016.
Bale has been a big hit with the club since he arrived from Southampton as a 17-year-old and has played a key part in the progress Tottenham have made.
Speaking to the club’s official website, he said: “I’ve been here for five years now and I’ve enjoyed every minute. The fans have been great to me and I’d love to re-pay them and do the very best for them.
“The Club is progressing and I want to be a part of that, so it was great to get the deal done.”
