Tottenham Hotspur's Scott Parker replaced by Arsenal's Theo Walcott as England beat Norway

Scott Parker played for 56 minutes as Roy Hodgson's England reign got off to a winning start with a 1-0 victory in Norway tonight.

The Spurs midfielder was replaced after the break by Arsenal's Theo Walcott and subsequently had his ankle strapped up, but reports suggest this was only precautionary following the former West Ham's player's Achilles problem.

England won the first of their two warm-up games prior to Euro 2012 thanks to Manchester United's Ashley Young in the ninth minute.
