Real Madrid could offer Lassana Diarra to Spurs in a part-exchange deal for Luka Modric, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Spanish champions are the latest club to be linked with a move for the Croatian who has said he will make a decision on his future after Euro 2012.

Diarra has a year left on his contract at the Bernabeu but could be ready to move on in search of regular first-team football.

The French midfielder has previously played under Harry Redknapp, winning the FA Cup with Portsmouth in 2008.

I would worry about taking on someone with pre-diagnosed medical problems. Lass has sickle cell anemia, great player but as there is no cure for this and he is likely to be in pain due to this most of his life I feel sorry for him but ... how will it effect his football as time moves on?
