Enfield had to settle for a draw against Indian Gymkhana in their first Middlesex County League outing of the season.
Batting first, Enfield chalked up a creditable 238 for eight from 51 overs after being inserted at Lincoln Road.
Skipper Neil Tilley led the way as Enfield clocked up 125 for their first two wickets. Tilley eventually was out in the 30th over.
Jack Plumb (53), Graham Frith (26) and Antony Higgs (29) kept things ticking over until the declaration.
The visitors made a brisk start to their reply but soon found themselves in trouble on 101 for five.
However, Gymkhana regrouped and batted well, finishing on 203 for eight from 49 overs.
Enfield were left to rue four dropped catches as Chaudhary (40) and Chendankar (48 not out) held the home side up during a sixth-wicket partnership of 62.
On Sunday, Enfield suffered cup disappointment for the third time in as many weekends as they lost by the narrowest of margins against Old Actonians in the Middlesex Knockout Competition.
The visitors made 174 for nine while Enfield were all out for 173 with eight balls remaining.
There were two wickets apiece for Jason Sahna, Nick Jackson and Michael Davies.
Tilley almost guided his side home, hitting 77 out of the 114 runs scored while he was at the wicket – but Enfield fell two runs short of their target.
Elsewhere, after losing their first league game, Enfield Seconds picked up a win at Harrow Town.
They dismissed the home side for 194 in 46 overs with Patrick Blair (five for 60) and (Sam Martin three for 58) doing the damage.
Enfield eased to the seven-wicket victory with five overs to spare. Left-handed newcomer Nick Coote made 79 and he was supported by Zia Ud Din (43) and Duncan Visser (36 not out).
Enfield Thirds overcame Winchmore Hill Fourths by six wickets in the 1987 League after bowling their local rivals out for 115.
