Spurs keeper David Button is hopeful of remaining at White Hart Lane but admits this summer will be a big one for him.
The 23-year-old is currently on loan in the Championship with Barnsley and has also spent time with Leyton Orient this season.
Button has one year left on his contract and while stressing he would be pleased to stay with the north London club, he added that he knows if he is not required he will have to look elsewhere.
“It’s a big summer for me,” he told Sky. “With a year left on my contract, I need to make some decisions.
“If Spurs still have plans for me, I’ll be delighted to stay, but if not, I’ll have to look elsewhere.
“I’ve known myself over the last couple of years that I haven’t been ready to play in the Tottenham first team, but I feel I’m gradually getting there.”
