Former Tottenham boss Terry Venables has made a return to football as Technical Advisor at Wembley FC.
The 69-year-old will serve as a mentor to the team’s manager Ian Bates and his arrival follows on from the club’s new sponsorship deal with Budweiser.
Venables told Wembley's website: “Managing, coaching and teaching football has been an essential part of my life for over 30 years.
“This opportunity to share my knowledge of decades with an eager group of players and coaches was too important to turn down. If they are willing to learn, I am willing to teach.”
