WINCHMORE Hill's David Burton hit an unbeaten century against Finchley on Saturday, but his efforts were in vain.
His 130 not out helped Hill to 267-7 from 64 overs.
However, Finchley had only just started their innings when the heavens opened and the match had to be abandoned.
Southgate and Enfield also saw their Division Two matches postponed.
However, Northampton Exiles did beat the weather to claim a five-wicket victory over Hatfield Hyde to regain the lead of Saracens Herts Division Four. Previous leaders Southgate Adelaide saw their match abandoned.
