PALMERS Green-based Gerry Moroney won the class for special saloon cars at Green Belt Motor Club's Tams Packaging North Weald Sprint.

Moroney, who was driving his Subaru Impreza, also finished sixth overall.

Winchmore Hill-based Malcolm Wise was just outside the top 20 finishers, but he did win the class for 1400cc to 2000cc modified cars. Enfield's Richard Moore was second in the class for cars up to 1400cc.
