Tottenham Hotspur will have to pay £12million if they want to sign Croatian international Milan Badelj, according to a report by the Daily Express.
It is claimed that Spurs want to sign the 27-year-old, who currently plays for Fiorentina in Serie A, as they look to bolster their squad ahead of their Premier League and Champions League campaigns.
Badelj is currently at Euro 16 with Croatia and the midfielder played the full 90 minutes during their 1-0 win over Turkey.
Prior to joining Fiorentina in August 2014, Badelj had a spell with Hamburg in Germany.
The 27-year-old came through the ranks at Dinamo Zagreb and spent five years as a first team regular with the Croatian outfit.
Speaking to the Express as part of their report, Badelj’s agent Dejan Joksimovic said a move to England would be appealing for his client.
He said: “The Premier League is always attractive, for all of the players in the world I think.
“If he leaves Fiorentina this summer all the options are available, we have talked about this a lot.
“Clubs playing in Champions League have priority, if there are some.”
