Enfield Town's excellent form in the Ryman Premier Division continued after a 2-0 home win over Hendon last night.

The Towners were knocked out of the FA Cup on Saturday but got back on track with three points which keeps them at the top of the form table in the division.

Brad Quinton's side opened the scoring with half time approaching as Corey Whitely's deflected effort beat the goalkeeper.

Enfield sealed the victory in the second half when Whitely raced past a defender and netted from a tight angle.

The result leaves them 16th in the table but with three games in hand over most of the teams above them.

The Towners are at home to Leighton Town in the FA Trophy this Saturday.
