Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Kane and Ryan Mason have been included in Roy Hodgson's England squad to face San Marino and Switzerland in European Championships qualifiers.

The Three Lions first face European minnows San Marino in Serravalle before hosting Switzerland three days later.

Kane, who is without a goal in four Premier League starts this season, will be bidding to win his third England cap after scoring on his debut against Lithuania in March.

The striker netted 31 times in all competitions for Spurs last season and also played 90 minutes in a friendly draw with Italy in Turin.

Midfielder Mason, 24, marked his breakthrough campaign with a first England cap from the bench against the Azzurri and had been an unused substitute against Lithuania four days earlier.

Mason made 37 appearances for Spurs last term in all competitions after forcing his way into Mauricio Pochettino's plans at White Hart Lane.

England are away to San Marino on Saturday, September 5, before hosting Switzerland at Wembley on Tuesday, September 8.
