Tottenham Hotspur are set to raid Everton for key midfielders James McCarthy and Kevin Mirallas as they look to bolster their midfield options.

Belgian winger Mirallas and Irish international McCarthy look to be on their way to the north London club in the offing according to the Daily Express.

McCarthy is reportedly unhappy at Everton after unsuccessful contract negotiations and the 24-year-old midfielder could be interested by a move away from the Merseyside club.

The Irish cap is valued at £20 million and that may potentially turn Spurs away from landing the central midfielder.

However, Belgian winger Mirallas could be available for as little as £4 million according to reports.

The former Olympiakos man scored seven goals from 30 appearances last season.

Everton have been heavily linked with Spurs wideman Aaron Lennon and he may be as a direct replacement for their Belgian winger.
