Enfield eased to a seven-wicket win over Brentham in Middlesex Cricket League Division Two on Saturday.

The decision to put their opponents into bat paid off as Brentham were dismissed for just 106 in 38.2 overs.

Enfield were never under pressure in the run chase and reached the target for the loss of three wickets in 20.1 overs.

But Enfield Seconds were well beaten as they lost by nine wickets to Hampstead in the Seconds’ Division Two.

Enfield were forced to bat first and were dismissed for 169 in 47 overs.

Hampstead made short work of their innings as they won with nine wickets in hand in just 32 overs.

Winchmore Hill cruised to a 134-run win over Bessborough in Division Three.

Hill were put into bat first but impressed as they scored 268 for six from 48 overs.

Their opponents had no answer in response and were skittled out for just 134 after 32.2 overs.

Winchmore Hill Seconds claimed a winning draw from their game against Brondesbury Seconds in Division Two.

Hill managed to score a total of 272 for five from 48 overs.

In reply, Brondesbury reached 269 for five and the points were shared.

Holtwhites Trinibis lost by seven wickets to Watford Town in Herts League Division Two A.

Holtwhites batted first but struggled to get going as they were bowled out for 141 in 43 overs.

This total always looked on the short side and Watford punished them by reaching the target for the loss of three wickets in 30 overs.

Holtwhites Trinibis Seconds were also beaten as they also lost by seven wickets to Hexton in Division Six B.

A total of 127 all out in 33.2 overs was never likely to be enough and Hexton confirmed this by reaching the target in just 26 overs.

Holtwhites Trinibis Thirds were also on the end of a 39-run defeat to Mill Hill Village Seconds in Division Ten A.

Mill Hill amassed a total of 224 for nine from their innings.

In reply, Holtwhites were dismissed for 185 in 46.2 overs.

There was frustration for Botany Bay as their match against Stevenage in the Herts Championship was called off due to the wet weather.

North Enfield’s game against Knebworth Park in Division Three was also cancelled.

But North Enfield Seconds picked up a comprehensive 263-run win over Eversholt Seconds in Division Six B.

North Enfield impressed with the bat scoring 264 for three.

Eversholt were never at the races and were dismissed for 103 in just 31.3 overs.
