Enfield Water Polo Club Seconds recorded their first win of the season by easing to a 16-10 win over Blue Marlin on Friday.
Adrian Lo put Enfield ahead with only a second remaining on the shot clock. Nikos Chamalidis was then on target from two metres before Martin Waller and Sean O’Brien struck to put Enfield 4-1 up at the end of the end of the first.
Blue Marlin scored six unanswered goals in the second before Costas Chamalidis pulled one back before Nikos Chamalidis added three more to his tally to make it 8-7 to Enfield at half time.
Enfield tired in the third but a Richard Waller hat-trick and a second for Costas Chamalidis put the hosts back in control.
Martin Ilievski slammed home a bounce shot to extend Enfield’s advantage just before the buzzer and in the fourth, Richard Waller (2) and Nikos Chamalidis made sure of the win.
