Enfield Town will be forced to wait until Monday to discover whether their appeal against being found guilty of fielding an ineligible player has been successful.
The Towners went before the Football Association today (Friday) and it had been expected an appeal verdict would be returned swiftly.
However, that has not proved to be the case and Town will now have to wait until Monday to discover whether their appeal has been successful due to the complex legal nature of the case.
In January Aryan Tajbakhsh played in two matches when he should have been suspended after joining from VCD Athletic but the FA did not punish Enfield until several months after the event.
The Isthmian League subsequently deducted Town three points, which if upheld, would mean Bradley Quinton's side surrender their play-off place.
