Everton could be priced out of a move for Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon, with Spurs reportedly having placed a £9 million price on his head.
The Guardian claim the England international, who is currently on loan with the Toffees from Spurs, could join the Merseyside outfit permanently in the summer if they can stump up the asking price.
Lennon, 28, has thrived on loan at Goodison Park, scoring twice in 12 Premier League outings since making the switch in the January transfer window.
He is deemed surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane by current head coach Mauricio Pochettino after making just three league starts in the first half of the campaign.
