The agent of Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike says Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the striker but talks have not yet begun.

Emenike, 27, has only scored twice in 13 Turkish Super Lig appearances this season but managed a return of 12 in 28 outings last season.

Signed from Spartak Moscow in January 2013, the Nigerian international helped Fener win the 2013/14 Turkish title after re-joining the club for a fee of 13 million.

And the forward's agent, Erdem Konyar, told the London Evening Standard there was interest from Mauricio Pochettino's side.

He said: "Tottenham have really only one striker right now so it is not a surprise that they are interested. I personally have not entered talks with Tottenham yet. However, if Fenerbahce give permission we can enter negotiations.

"There are also reports AC Milan and Fiorentina are interested in Emenike but we have not met with them either. I do not think Fenerbahce have received an official offer."
