Young Tottenham Hotspur striker Jonathan Obika has joined League 1 Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee, signing a two-year contract.

Obika, 23, made five appearances for Swindon during a loan spell in the 2010/11 season and has had loan spells at Yeovil Town, Millwall, Crystal Palace, Peterborough United, Brighton and Hove Albion and Charlton Athletic previously.

A product of Tottenham’s academy, Obika made his first-team debut in 2008 against NEC Nijmegen in the UEFA Cup but subsequently failed to make a Premier League appearance for the club.
