Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a price with Montpellier for midfielder Benjamin Stambouli, who will now travel to England for personal talks.
The 24-year-old, a defensive midfielder, has spent six years at Montpellier, winning the Ligue 1 title with the club in 2012.
A statement from Montpellier read: "MHSC and Tottenham Hotspur FC have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of Benjamin Stambouli.
"He will go to London in the next few hours to undergo a medical and finalise his contract."
A former French Under-21 international, Stambouli has made more than 100 league appearances for La Paillade since making his debut in 2010.
