Winchmore Hill were held to a frustrating draw against Harrow St Marys in Middlesex County Cricket League Division Two.

Hill posted a modest total of 139 all out with Scott Newman top scoring with 40. After a short rain break, Harrow collapsed from 67 for three to 80 for eight.

It seemed as though Whichmore would be able to secure victory but the St Marys tail wagged and they held on to earn a share of the points.

Enfield were denied the chance of victory as rain meant their Division Two clash against Uxbridge ended as a draw.

Enfield batted first and set a competitive total of 213 all out. Jack Plumb (60) and Peter Lazarus (43) were the main contributors.

With the ball, Enfield had Uxbridge in trouble on 73 for five but the match was cut short in the 24th over due to the adverse weather.

Northampton Exiles were forced to settle for a draw against Sandridge. Batting first, Sandridge posted 179 all out and Exiles’ reply ended just short on 176 for eight.

Botany Bay strengthened their Herts Cricket League Division Two promotion hopes with a 67-run victory over bottom of the table Holtwhites Trinibis.

Bay set a total of 274 for five and that proved too much for Trinibis who were skittled for 207.

North Enfield sealed an 88-run victory against Eversholt. Enfield posted 264 for six whilst their opponents could only muster 176 all out.
