Enfield and Haringey’s Margaret Adeoye helped Team GB win bronze with a season’s best time in the final of 4x400m at the European Championships in Zurich this afternoon.
The 29-year-old was part of the Team GB’s women’s 4x400m relay team which finished third in the event, crossing the line in a time of 3.24.34.
Adeoye and Team GB finished behind winners France (3.24.27) and second-place Ukraine (3.24.32) to claim bronze at the championships in Switzerland.
Club-mate Desiree Henry is part of the Team GB women’s 4x100m relay team who are in final action at 5.22pm this evening.
Team GB are up against France, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Germany, Italy and Belgium.
