Vanessa Anthony was the first women to finish the Grovelands Park Run on Saturday – the 21st time in 45 attempts she has been first across the line for the ladies.
Anthony finished 20th overall and crossed the line in a time of 23.03, a time which saw her fall just shy of her personal best.
Carl Redondo was the overall winner of the run, claiming his first win in two attempts at the course.
Redondo, who belongs to Trent Park Running Club, reached the finish line in a time of 18.03, whilst Nicolas Baurier was second in a time of 19.18.
Just behind in third place was Matt Papa of Tri-Force, who crossed the line in 20.10.
Alicia Murphy was the second lady to cross the line, doing so in a personal best time of 23:12.
Rounding off the top three for the women was Elaine Pitter. A one-time winner, Pitter finished in 23.46.
The event saw 78 runners take part, 11 of which were first-time entrants, whilst an impressive 17 new personal bests were set.
