Micah Richards could be in line for a loan move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to the Daily Express.
Spurs are one of a number of clubs to hold talks with Manchester City about signing the right-back this summer, but all have been deterred by City’s £7m asking price.
The 26-year-old is already out of favour at the Etihad Stadium and the arrival of ex-Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna means his first team chances will be even more limited during the next campaign.
As Richards is entering the final year of his contract with City, clubs would rather wait a year to sign the player on a free than pay his asking price this summer.
Richards, who has 13 caps for England, is desperate for first team football at the highest level and will ask City to facilitate a loan move.
The right-back-cum-centre-half made just two Premier League appearances for the Citizens last season.
