Hull City will revive their interest in Danny Rose as Tottenham close in on the signing of Swansea’s Ben Davies, according to the Daily Mirror.

Steve Bruce is stepping up his bid to make Hull’s fourth signing of the summer and wants to rescue the 24-year-old left-back from a frustrating spell at White Hart Lane.

Rose, a former England Under-21 international, has only made 57 appearances for Spurs since joining from Leeds United seven years ago.

Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino has made it his priority to sign a left-back, leaving Rose further down the pecking order at White Hart Lane next season.
