Tottenham Hotspur will sign Swansea City pair Ben Davies and Michael Vorm for £15m, with Gylfi Sigurdsson moving in the other direction, according to the Daily Mail.

Swans left-back Davies has been a target of Tottenham’s all summer and the two clubs were understood to have agreed a fee of £10m for the 21-year-old last week.

However, with Swansea keen on bringing Iceland international Sigurdsson back to the club following a successful loan spell in 2012, a swap deal has been agreed.

As a result, Tottenham will sign Davies and Netherlands international goalkeeper Vorm, sending playmaker Sigurdsson in the opposite direction as a makeweight in the deal.

Sigurdsson, 24, has never been a regular at White Hart Lane since joining from Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in 2012, following an impressive six-month stay at The Liberty Stadium.

The midfielder has made just 26 Premier League starts for Spurs in two seasons at the club, with a further 32 appearances coming as a substitute.

Meanwhile, keeper Vorm, 30, has established himself as one of the most reliable shot-stoppers in the Premier League after three impressive seasons in South Wales.

Signed from Dutch side FC Utrecht following the Swans’ rise to the top-flight, the six foot gloveman has made 97 appearances for the club in three seasons.

Swansea boss Garry Monk has already moved to replace Vorm by capturing Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski on a free transfer.
