Swansea City are interested in re-signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, according to the Daily Mail.

Sigurdsson, 24, joined Spurs from Hoffenheim in 2012 after impressing in a six-month loan spell with the Swans.

The Icelandic international has found it tough breaking into the Spurs side on a regular basis, though, making just 26 Premier League starts in two seasons.

An attacking midfielder-cum-winger, Sigurdsson started his career with Reading before joining Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in 2010 after excelling with the Royals.
