Tottenham Hotspur have announced Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey have left their coaching roles at the club.

Ferdinand, who played 146 times for the club between 1997 and 2003, returned to White Hart Lane in a coaching capacity in 2008.

Ramsey joined Spurs in 2004, working within the academy and the Under-21 and Development Squad, before being appointed first-team coach under Tim Sherwood in December.

A statement on the club website said: “The club can announce that Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey have left the club.”

It continued: “We would like to thank them for their contribution and wish them well for the future.”

Former Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino was appointed as the new Spurs head coach last month and brought assistant manager Jesus Perez, first team coach Miguel D’Agostino and goalkeeping coach Toni Jimenez to north London with him.
