Winchmore Hill drew with Shepherds Bush in the Middlesex County Cricket League on Saturday after failing to remove their visitors.

Shepherds won the toss and installed their hosts into bat, with Winchmore making 212 all out.

Mark Barrell (55) and Henry Glogau (45) lead to the way with the bat for the hosts on their way to a respectable total.

James Kidson did the damage for Shepherds, taking five for 55 from his 15-over stint.

In reply, the visitors made 180 for nine in their 45 overs.

Ian McGowan (49) dragged the scoring along with knocks of 35 from Jon Whealing and Miles Illingworth providing the foundations.

De la Rey Terblanche outshone Kidson with the ball, taking six for 50, including three maidens, from his 13 overs.

The draw sees Winchmore Hill remain bottom of the league table.

Enfield also drew after visitors Harrow failed to bowl them out.

The hosts won the toss and elected to bowl first, removing their visitors for 162.

Harrow could not remove their hosts, who finished on 162 for eight from their overs.

Northampton Exiles suffered a five wicket defeat at home to West Herts in the Saracens Herts League Division Four on Saturday.

The visitors won the toss and invited Northampton to bat first.

The hosts were bowled out for 144 after a slow start to their innings.

David Taylor top-scored with 39 and Aleem Hussain scored 22 for Northampton.

Ryan Woosley took four for 53 and Mohabt Ali took three for 28, including four maidens, in his 10 overs.

West Herts made light work of reaching their target, hitting 147 with five wickets in hand.

Sixty from Stephen Pirch and 34 not out from Vinesh Gorasia eased the visitors to victory.

Defeat leaves Northampton Exiles 12th in Division Four.

Holtwhites Trinibis saw their Division One clash against Luton Town and Indians cancelled, whilst in Division Three, North Enfield's match against Sawbridgeworth Seconds didn't go ahead either.
