Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho insists he has no regrets over his move to White Hart Lane last summer.

The 25-year-old Brazilian midfielder joined Spurs in a £17m deal from Corinthians last summer, but saw injury and a change of head coach limit him to 28 Premier League starts.

Despite that, the Brazilian international has been subject of interest from Chelsea already, with a potential swap deal for Romelu Lukaku mooted.

However, speaking to FourFourTwo, Paulinho insists he has no regrets about his decision to move to White Hart Lane.

"Absolutely not. I know how to handle my career and it'll take more than just one bad moment before I reconsider my options. We have all got responsibilities at Tottenham and we are ready to go through this," explained the midfielder.

"I don't have any problem. If you take a look, I was on the field in more than half of the games if you consider the Europa League and the cups. There's no big issue with this, but a footballer always wants to be playing, never resting. We Brazilians are like this."

Paulinho made 37 appearances in all competitions in his maiden season in England, with only 14 of his 33 starts coming following Tim Sherwood's appointment in mid-December.
